The NRL has completed its investigation into the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, making preliminary findings, & issued the club with a breach notice, as well as show cause notices to 2 club officials.
Notices relate to findings of potential salary cap breaches going back 5 years.
Manly has 5 days to respond, but “given the seriousness of the allegations, the NRL would consider a request for an extension of time.”
Potential discipline could include:
– “significant” fine
– adjusted salary cap for ‘18
– loss of players
– deregistration of officials
