We are very excited to be a part of this ground breaking organization formed in support of the professionalization and growth of esports in Australia, with Mathew Jessep being appointed as Interim CEO of the Esports Games Association Australia, EGAA.
Much work, time, and effort has gone into building a membership based industry body that seeks to represent and advance the mutual interests of the various stakeholders in the esports scene in Australia and NZ. It was a pleasure for Mat to be a part of a very dedicated and hard working Board over the past year, working after hours, on weekends, and on business trips, to build what the Board consider to be a well thought out and proactive membership body for local esports.
Well done to fellow Board Members, Chris Smith; Nick Vanzetti; Daniel Chlebowczyk; David Harris; Josh Edwards; and Jason Spiller, and to Eranga De Silva.
Mat will step down off the Board to continue the operational roll-out of the EGAA as Interim CEO while the Board sources a more permanent CEO to lead the executive function moving forward.

Merry Christmas, esports!
